At Hue42, operated by Chaos Theory Studios LLC, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are available for our subscription plans and digital products.
2. Subscription Refunds
2.1 New Subscriptions - 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are a new subscriber to a Pro or Team plan, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. This guarantee applies only to your first subscription purchase and is designed to let you try Hue42 risk-free.
- Applies to first-time Pro and Team subscriptions only
- Must be requested within 7 calendar days of the initial charge
- Refund will be issued to the original payment method
- Your account will revert to the Free tier upon refund
2.2 Monthly Subscriptions
After the 7-day money-back period, monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your current billing cycle.
2.3 Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a prorated refund within 30 days of purchase or renewal, calculated based on the unused portion of the subscription period. After 30 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, but you may cancel to prevent future renewals.
- Prorated refunds are calculated from the date of the refund request
- The prorated amount reflects the remaining full months on the subscription
- Any introductory or promotional pricing applied at purchase will be factored into the prorated calculation
3. AI Credit Packs
AI credit packs are digital goods and are non-refundable once purchased. This includes all credit pack tiers (25, 75, and 200 credits). Because credits are delivered instantly and can be used immediately, we are unable to process refunds for credit pack purchases.
If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using purchased credits, please contact our support team and we will work to resolve the issue or provide replacement credits.
4. Cancellation vs. Refund
It is important to understand the difference between cancellation and a refund:
4.1 Cancellation
Cancelling your subscription stops future billing. Your Pro or Team features remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the Free tier. You can cancel at any time through your account settings.
4.2 Refund
A refund returns money to your payment method. Refunds are subject to the eligibility conditions described in this policy. Receiving a refund will immediately revoke access to paid features, and your account will revert to the Free tier.
5. How to Request a Refund

- The date of your purchase
- The reason for your refund request

We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of:

- Violation of our Terms of Service
- Account suspension or termination due to policy violations
- Chargebacks filed without first contacting our support team
